For decades almost every kid in town was, at one time or another, a member of this "Y". It was our "club house" - where we always met our friends to play basketball, go swimming, work out in the weight room, play ping-pong, or shoot pool. Remember the weight room downstairs? The fan to the shower room that exhausted from the side of the building on Church St? Of course we never took a peak through it to see the girls showering. If they only knew! :)
