"Old Times" (1952)
There's ma giving orders to everyone. The point driven well was under the front porch. The old handle pump was just to the right of the stairs. Every morning it was the same old argument as to whom would prime the pump. In a few years the rustic life soon became old. Out went the pump when we started getting water from a neighbor.
"Lazy Mary, Why Don't You Get Up?" Guess the "Commandant" of Nestorest is too tired from giving out so many orders today.
Taken in what is now the inside bathroom on the old "front porch." Her
head is about where the toilet is now. She, apparently, had her head in it a lot
in those days as she was always saying - "you guys make me
sick."
