wasn't a "rest room" it was a whole house -
An Out House! We NEVER did stuff like this
IN the house!
We would rig up a feather duster
underneath one of the seats in our outhouse. It had a small weight attached to
it. When someone opened the door it pulled the "duster" away from the hole
until the door shut. It then started swinging side to side under the hole. We
always told the gals to make sure they slammed the door hard as this would
scare away any coons or skunks lurking in the pit. Of course this would really
make the duster swing, not to mention get the gals in the "mood" for terror.
