"It was a sad day indeed - when Mr. Morris went into the kitchen, lit the stove to prepare the oil for deep frying - left to do something else and returned to find the place afire. That's when the famous carved wood animals from the carousel had to be sold in order to renovate Sherman's Pavilion."
