Sherman's Around 1962

On the Fourth of July, each summer (yeah, I know it HAD to be summer:)) many of us would sit out here in our boats to watch the fireworks shot from behind the concession stands. 

There was Frank Sherman, you couldn't miss him with his white long sleeve shirt rolled up to his elbows. He was on the roof of the dance hall with a fire hose putting out the sparks from the fireworks.
